DHTML is the group of technologies implemented to make animated and interactive web-pages. This is done by using different groups of certain languages; namely HTML, javascript, presentation language i.e. Cascading Style Sheets and mainly the Document Object Model. DHTML is such a webpage which affects the purpose of a motionless content, which is effective after the page is loaded. The vibrant feature of DHTML is the function it performs when the page is been viewed, it is not able to start with a fresh page while other page is still in a working condition.

On the contrary, different web pages have a wider thought. The web page which is different from each other, load specific and different details or values. The page created by server-side scripting is one where the server creates the content before they could send it to the concerned person.

In the year 1990s DHTML was effectively used in creating different games. But on the contrary, these games were not effectively functional on different software. Later on many new technologies were instigated to enable the games to function properly with these softwares. The modern web pages are meeting the standards with which the games can be played without any difficulty.

DHTML have certain benefits; the main focus of using DHTML is working with strictly with creativity and creating something new. This function is effectively used by the web designers and developers. It is effectively been used in different browsers including Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, Macintosh and different Unix based systems. The web pages are user friendly, that it can easily modify itself. Multi-media effects and different layouts are also specialty in DHTML. It gives rich effects as animations and different mixing systems, effects in font and screen transition, and textures. Along with all the animations and transitions the load on the server is very less.

There are different features of DHTML, the view of the web page is very much object-oriented. Programming is such a kind which can work on almost all the browsers and lastly, it have the system of different and unique fonts which enhances the quality of the function.

DHTML have some disadvantages as well along with all the positive points it has. It may create problem in clearing up and developing DHTML because of the different support that the browsers provide to the users.
